Today is a very important day.
The Treasurers report has to be approved and
A new Excecutive Committee must be elected.

The treasurer explains the financial results over the past three years.
The treasurer report and accounts were accepted after just a couple of clarifying questions and answers.

This picture shows the voting for the new president.


Ria Smeijers from the Netherlands is electeted unanimously as the new President of the European Ostomy Association.

The nearly Past-President - he must finish this meeting first- handed the gavel, a symbol of chairmanship, to the new elected President.

The roses were presented by Thijs Fonville the president of the Dutch Ostomy Association.

If I had a hammer......

At the closing dinner in the restaurant of the congress hotel the new President of the EOA, Ria Smeijers speeched to the Past-President Arne Holte.

She thanks him for the work he has done for the EOA.

And the new President handed over a sculpture, made by a Dutch sculptress, symbolizing

"Communication combined with Personal Regard""

Arne Holte was very surprised and touched by the words of Ria Smeijers.

And also there was a thank-you-present for Vladimir Kleinwächter from the Czech Republic, as a huge thank for all he has done for the EOA and especially for this congress.

 

And last but not least Ria thanks Professor Yuryi Lozynsky and the organizing Committee from ASTOM for their work done for this wonderfull congress in Lviv.
