Organization: Urostomy Association

Number of members: 2500 (all with urostomy or other urinary diversion.  People with Colostomy and Ileostomy have separate associations)

Number of employees: 1 full time and 1 part time

Appliance-situation: Good, lots of different products available

Type of reimbursement: Products are paid for by the National Health Service

Activities since: National Annual General Meetings each year, 15 local groups holding meetings and events to support members, contact with government in England and Scotland.  We took part in World Ostomy Day activities.

We have produced new leaflets, and our magazine is published 3 times a year.
